SM-U2

The Surveying M SM-U2 is a lightweight, intelligent USV system engineered for hydrographic surveying in confined or shallow water environments. Measuring just 90 x 50 x 34 cm and weighing 16 kg, SM-U2 is designed for one-person operation, deployable within minutes from a car trunk with no assembly tools required.

The vessel is equipped with dual detachable pumpjet thrusters, allowing speeds up to 6 m/s and tight maneuverability with zero turning radius. Its integrated single beam echo sounder supports depth ranges from 0.2 to 120 meters, delivering centimeter-grade vertical accuracy (±1 cm ± 0.1%h). The built-in millimeter-wave radar (optional) enables real-time obstacle detection up to 40 meters, with automatic deceleration and avoidance within 10 meters.

With onboard RTK-enabled GNSS, dual-antenna orientation, a 1080p HD camera, and a full suite of communication protocols (4G, radio, 5.8GHz), SM-U2 ensures seamless positioning and control. Its 29.6V 888Wh battery delivers 4–5 hours of continuous surveying at 1.5 m/s, with support for extended runtime configurations.

The system is managed through an Android-based 5.5-inch touchscreen controller with built-in control software for route planning, live mapping, task automation, and data export. Whether for rivers, ports, lakes, or fishponds, SM-U2 is a precise and mobile USV platform optimized for modern field teams.
